The Golden Flashes date back to 1926, when Kent State held a contest for a new mascot. From a golden retriever named Flasher to a cartoon character named Grog to a golden palomino, the Golden Flash has been many things over KSU’s history; in 1985, the school settled on a golden eagle named Flash, who has been the official mascot ever since. Pay homage.

Sizing

Our crewneck is designed to be relaxed and tends to run slightly large. It's made from a soft cotton blend that may shrink slightly after washing, so we recommend washing cold and tumble drying on low to help maintain the fit. Check the Size Guide for fit tips.

If you are at the lower end of a size range, expect a more oversized feel, in the middle the fit will be relaxed, and at the top end it may feel closer but still easy to wear.

How to Measure

• Chest Measurement: Measure around the fullest part of the chest area and keep tape level under your arms and across your back.
• Waist Size: Measure your natural waistline by placing the tape around the narrowest part of your torso, typically just above your belly button.
• Garment Length: For accurate garment length, measure from the top of your shoulder down to where you want the hem to fall.
• Sleeve Measurement: Start at the center of the back of your neck, run the tape across your shoulder, and down to your wrist with arm straight for a full sleeve measurement.
